What a trill! My drawing "AFTER THE STORM" is featured on the cover of the April issue of
The Artist's Magazine.
The headline reads "Colored Pencil Cracks the (Fine Art) Ceiling." Inside there's an in-depth article about my process and background as an artist.
As this article shows, colored pencil artwork can be as rich and nuanced as any other. It's my goal to advance this elegant medium in the world of fine art.

No Boundaries Group Show
My latest piece, "Adrenaline," is featured in an extraordinary show at RJD Gallery, opening May 20th.
No Boundaries showcases a diverse group of artists, each with a unique storytelling ability. You can find a preview of the show in the May issue of American Art Collector.
It's an honor to be included alongside artists Salvatore Alessi, Margaret Bowland, Frank Oriti and Rick Garland.
Check out RJD'S gorgeous new gallery in Bridgehampton, New York.
American Art Collector Magazine
My solo exhibition, "Face Reality," was featured in both the October and December issues of American Art Collector Magazine.
One of articles begins, "In his highly detailed colored pencil drawings, Jesse Lane uses the human figure as a vessel for emotional expression. The pieces themselves are not about physical features of the models, but rather convey feelings such as struggle and peace."
Many thanks to Editor Rochelle Belsito and RJD Gallery.
Southwest Art Magazine Feature
Southwest Art Magazine included me in its annual feature, "21 Under 31: Young Artists to Collect Now," published in the September issue.
The magazine says, "Let us introduce you to the next generation of talented artists -- all of them under the age of 31. We polled art schools, galleries, and instructors to find some of the most promising young painters in the country."
You can read the story here.
